CSER’s mission is to expand equitable access to Earth science education by creating pathways for students of all backgrounds to engage in atmospheric and environmental research.

We support learning through hands‑on training, collaborative projects, and exposure to the tools and technologies used across our research programs—from satellite remote sensing and big‑data analytics to air quality modeling and field measurements.

By partnering with academic units, community organizations, and federal agencies, CSER works to build a diverse and prepared workforce that can address today’s environmental challenges and advance a more sustainable future.
